Information about not gaining credit (GoV)

In the past days i have done GoV encounter 2 times without gaining anny credit and several other players didden't get it aswell even tho we where in the same bg ore same grp.
So i ask goa if theres a bug ore if we where doing annything wrong.

Heres the answear:

Hi There
A lot of encounter credit problems are caused by how the encounter is done. If you kite him or his friends that can break the encounter as can using mass amounts of pet damage (and this includes focus)

I have done GoV a few times as erce, had the thing kited to braggarts and back, oodles of shrooms and people got credit. I did it as erehey, my vw with a couple of anis there, fairly straightforward, and guess what.... no credit.

so yeah, I would agree with the poster above on their assesment.

that is total bull shit i have done that with 45 shrooms with animists and a bard kitting around in circles with the shrooms doing 100% of the damage - total BS answer imo

In recent patches and hotfixes several encounters have been made unspammable, unfocusable and/or unkitable. The mobs either won't take damage at all from some or all of these sources and if they do then they may not drop items or give encounter credit. Basically a lot of encounters were 'tightened up' to prevent them being farmed by duos when they were designed as fg+ encounters.

recent as within the week and a half before prydwen fell over? cos thats the sort of time frame i am talking about at least for both of my different ending encounters.

Its all well and good tightening up the encounters, but it seems that maybe they are too tight, and people who shou,d have been given credit havenl;t.

GoV is still kiteable (atleast it was before the incident - all my characters are empty so i can't comment anymore than that).

I've also never had a problem with gettin credit for GoV or others gettin credit for GoV unless i was kiting in which case i never got credit.
