Question - plat cap

What is the maximum amount of platinum pieces (capped) a char can safely hold without some disappearing after logging and such?

You can't trade money or sell items to NPCs if you have 200p as I've found out, but I have noticed if you kill a mob and loot it the money does increase over 200p. I'm not sure if it eventually prevents you even doing that or what.

it increases but you loose it when you log afaik

and tbh with 41p for a piercer 200p doesnt seem like much these days

The cap is 2^31 - 1 = 2147483647 copper pieces = 214p 748g 36s 47c. IIRC, when this first became an issue, it you had that and then got 1 more copper, your client would display it as a negative amount. However, the server didn't die and if you gave away enough money your gold went positive again.

I guess they picked 200g as a number that is safely far away from that cap. If the only way to increase money is to farm mobs, it would take a while to get the 14p ... well maybe

I'm stuck at 200 plat, 1g, 14s, 16c. Wont go higher no matter what I do
