How about...

"Thanks for helping out, but we were ok mate and would appreciate it if next time you see us in a fight just chuck us a /yell to see if we need a hand."

I wouldn't mind be asked not to add if it was something like that.

well, its annoying cos everyone i know in game are great people to know, and the majority came / had come from the guild i am in. Sure there will be minor tiffles, but its shit just to say that everything was alright and everyone was always really nice to everybody no matter what before toa came out. Hell i cant even remember one certain event post ToA that caused as much trouble as Treacle, EWB or amedor (sorry to mention it)

hmm
i read the post but i still dont get it?
obviously as i dont rvr much but..

surely its better to have help in an rvr situation (as you NEVER know if the enemy is about to zerg you ) especially in a keep take/tower take.

Im used to and understand why peeps dont like leeching in PVE but never in the history of camelot would i expect to be told not to help someone rvring..wether they needed my help or not. In fact - if i were to be told that if i did rvr i would prolly think sod that for a laugh and not bother helping in ANY type of rvr - and that includes relics..

Obviously Solo kills are different. I would prolly hang around watching the fight though ;) Like i do in pve ;)

anyway this has gone off topic maybe? or has it... i forget ;)

The problem stems from the current state of RvR on Prydwen.

Ignoring the zerg fest of the last week (due to the current keep status) RvR has been pretty sparse. It can be frustrating running around with no fight, and when you do finally find one, being outnumbered makes it all the more frustrating.

If an enemy gets zerged/added on, they are far less likely to come back. This hurts everyone, they log out of frustration, and you wander around getting frustrated because there is now nothing to kill. This is why the active RvR guilds make a fairly big deal about trying to keep fights 'fair'.

I can't speak for the rest of the guilds, but for us a tower siege is a free-for-all but any fight already engaged with equal numbers midfield, we will do our best to run past and come back later. I do however think the manner in which groups have been 'asked' not to join in recently has kinda deteriorated.

...it can be exactly as frustrating to run around solo trying to pick a fight only to get angry people on ya once you actually join in a fight.. I just realized that without a working BG or friendly people. Soloing isnt really worth the time (as a stealther) imo that is..
