They could have given us freebie days but then they would have had to give it to all the english player base (as xalin said it was nigh impossible to seperate excal and prydwen) so excal player base would have got days for free for nothing which would have annoyed peeps even more.
Thinking on it - i dont know what else they could do other than the underpop bonus (which yea i know hibernia got but mid and alb didnt) and the bonus to rps xps cash etc will help when we get clustered
Lievaordiea x Eldritch
Peonchants x Enchanter
Hibernia
yeah GoA were in a vice really, nothing they could do would make 100% of people happy just slightly peeved thou thats its another weekend unplayable especially when its doubtfull i can play for the next several weekends ;(
stupeh wrote:............................................................................ I must congratulate GoA on limiting their compensation based on the 'maximum' allowed by the underpopulation bonus'. Hi, mayhaps you should rethink this? It's a complete joke. AT LEAST extend the period fgs..
You missed the free time bit first time round too?

[quote="Mailimber"]In other words they deleted anything they couldent fix and its up to us to try to figure out if we have being screwed over and report it ]
Unfortunately it's not possible to tell what was actually missing as the data in the fields that were deleted was corrupt. We have a list of affected character IDs and how many 'items' on each were deleted. However we have no way of knowing whether the deleted 'item' was a blank space with a corrupt entry in it or an actual item that had become corrupted.
In case you are interested, just over 66,000 entries had to be deleted to give you an idea of the scale, every single vault and inventory slot on every single character in the current Prydwen database - including inactive and deleted characters - had to be individually checked for integrity.

any possibility of mass emailing the peeps with affected accounts so they could let you know?
i was about to suggest that, might help me a little bit if i knew what chars i needed to concetrate on.
** Dont get me wrong i am thankfully for all the hard work, done over the last week to fix and test the server. Just a bit anxious now about the well being of my chars

Personally, i was able to play on another server, as it was only Prydwen that was down. I would much prefer more compensation for the server being down, more rp/xp etc. than free days, but others didn't, so it's hard to please everyone really.
Edit: Must say a thanks to Req for posting here btws.
Kinda agree, the in-game compensation is somehow useless for someone who only plays for RvR and doesn't bother doing alts on Pryd or Excal. +10% RPs in 10 days ain't what you'd normaly get in those 10 days lost
