Thank you for the comments. We are still working on the list of missing items on Prydwen with all available resources. We are sorry that it is taking a long time however we ask for your patience while we work on this. They won't even give me a new estimate. If there heads werent so far jammed up there arses they would be able to give me one. The other thing is what about / if people don't read these forum! They wouldn't have a damned clue what was going on.

Random auto responses are totally inadequte.

I know alot of people will disagree with me but tbh too many people on this forum think GoA's *s*h*i*t don't stink.

We can't give you an estimate. One reason is that it's not really possible to say with any degree of accuracy and the other reason is that if we were giving out estimates we'd be doing nothing else other than answering queries about when a particular ticket was likely to be resolved. As the original message said that you got when you reported it, when we have more information for you, we'll contact you. It isn't feasible to reply to each and every update asking for progress on each and every ticket. As I said, if we were then nothing would actually get done.

Requiel do you think it's a good service that we have to wait for 2 months to get our chars solved and only get 12 free days? I and many others haven't been able to play the game as we wanted to for 2 months and we're still paying as much as anybody else...

It's not an attack on you, but I'm just not satisfied with the treatment we get from goa.

The free days are for the server downtime, not for the fact that your items are missing. Normally we only give free time when the service is unavailable, in this case we gave free days even though the other servers were up. It's not really possible to give free time individually based on time to resolve a particular ticket and there's no blanket award that is fair to everyone.

I don't expect people to be happy that it's taking so long but there isn't any realistic way of compensating people for missed time on their characters. Partly that's why we implemented the bonuses up until the clustering so that people who couldn't play 50s would find it easier to level some alts for a while. Many people who were affected were also not stopped from playing either, a lot just re-equipped characters with temporary templates, a very small minority indeed couldn't play at all.

I understand that, but prices did go up a lot with people who had money given in compensation. Those with totally stripped mains iknow some found it hard to re-equip.... but as you say its impossible to please anyone, was just pointing it out:-)

And i know i wasn;t stripped by any means.

Sadly the downtime and the restoration process has had a massively negative effect on the game.

A number have left and for a percentage of those who are still here there has been a noticeable loss of morale and enthusiasm.

We can all moan about the time taken to restore and the lack of decent compensation for those who have been unable to play their toons for so long. I know Req says 'ah but the server has been up and you could play alts' but I suspect deep down Req knows that is not the point - people have been unable to play the game they wanted to but have had to pay for it.

The trouble is what do they do about it. Individual compensation packages would be such a nightmare that it would take another 2 months (or more) to sort out. Extra free time for all is clearly not fair either. Cash (in game) for all would mess the economy (again).

I for one would settle for some serious effort to get new players into the game. I think some new blood would reinvigorate a lot of people and guilds. XP groups again !!! What a thought that is.

I know Aran has posted a thread asking what is being done about this and I have no wish to repeat anything that is said there. Seems to me there are few, if any, other really practical alternatives that GOA could take.
