To be honest i was going for the Class Vs same Class opinion aswell
Stealthers: NightShade / Ranger
Support: Druids / Bards / Wardens
Combat: Hero's / Champions / Blademasters / Walewalkers
Casters: Eldritchs / Enchanters / Mantalists / Animists / Bainshee

i know youve now cancelled this but i think the reason people arnt signing is cause even the above group classing isnt fair.
how can a Ranger defeat a Nightshade?
Nightshade is a melee char - rangers are ranged.
Same with the Eld - chanter

Chanter will make the pet attack the nuke and start nuking
Eld will either be quick enough to stun the pet then the enc with QC or QC the pet and get owned by the nukes from the chanters.

The only way to make it fair is NS Vs NS | Warden Vs Warden | Druid Vs Druid.

Then if you truely desire you can get the winners of all the class groups to duke it out to the single winner at the end (jamie or was it mael last time?)

Problem i see with that is... no group dueling.. witch a FFA with 5 types of classes is a no no, altho that wood be nice to see, the best of the best going up against eachother

i ment as in eld group (i.e if there are 4 elds dueling each would be in the eldritch group) not physical groups.

in THEORY there is no reason why a melee specced ranger cant beat a nightshade in a duel, if there is no PA involved. They are on same damage table, and in many cases they can afford more CD skill.

no PA , poisons etc
