I went on a french server last night , and yes they where getting lagg , but it wasn't as frequent nor a long a pause as what is happening on pry. I did this last time we where having these spikes , and i was getting 0 lagg on them .Requiel wrote:You may well have a different route to other DAoC servers which is why you have lag on Prydwen but not on Lyonesse or other servers. As far as details about the lag problem itself is concerned, it seems to be certain routing combinations in several hubs close to, but outside, our network. We're passing on all the information that we recieve to OpenTransit in an effort to get it resolved as quickly as possible. They've been making adjustments since Friday morning trying to pinpoint the problem and eradicate it however it isn't as simple a process as it sounds. Both parties are working on it still and will be doing until it's resolved.
Yes we could be going though a different route .. but shouldnt' that tell you something .... if the servers are stored in the same building then it' s down to a particualr router ... again that is a big "IF".
It's really annoying , so much so that i just can't lvl with it
