well Ive just read through most of the posts.. and tbh i think its absoulutly disgusting behavour off some people whom imo should know better.
well i hope people are happy with the outcome of what this post has caused,
we havnt just lost the ONLY fiken GM we had who would post here.. I personally believe that peoples relationships in game has also been damaged.. but perhaps people dont give a **** about the community anymore..
I also think if people have got issues with GOA then direct it to them through the proper channels.. this forum to me has been dragged in the gutter and i think that certain people within this thread have contributed to that and should be ashamed of themselves as this forum is obviously worse than FH now.. they still seem to have all the GMs there..

Guess u didn't read the very same post on FH about same problem, so imo m8 read that too and try to get that, even if u think all is working good, that ain't the case for > of community and that we are tired of getting the same old bull**** thrown at us from the same old GMs and such.

I'd just like to remind you we are not in the army where one ****s up than everyone is doing push-ups. We didn't sign any kind of collective agreement with GOA, so blame it on GOA if you are feel you don't get the information needed through some official channels. In a 2 side agreement, 3rd party cannot be blamed.

It can if its the 3rd party that does the flaming/whining all the time. I would like to remind you that im not an idiot and can manage pretty well without compares like the one you just did.

I feel stuck inbetween two opinions atm. I do agree that some of the things in this thread shouldnt have been said they way they were said. But this is still a public board and ppl are still entitled to their opinion. But some ppl just need to think before they type something. And others think they are speaking up for others that maybe dont dare to speak up.

Time to lock the post guys. This charade has gone far enough. If you are so annoyed by GOA and their service don't subscribe to the game then but don't play the dramaqueen on a forum just to get some attention. Hib/Pryd was always known for it's splendid community which has gotten a serious bash now. I am not saying you shouldn't/cannot vent your frustration from time to time but some people are on a personal vendetta. I am surprised the moderators fail to see this. Time to step on some toes in order to prevent this forum to turn into a slamfest like FH is.

Unfortunately there are quite a lot of "kids" out there no matter how old they are. I understand it is hard being a moderator on a forum here when there are people involved which you know from ingame. Like we say in Belgium:

It's not been a lot of actual flame of people in this thread (lots of flame of GOA though) so don't see why the thread should be locked.

Aside from that, not having requiel posting obviously isn't good, but quite honestly I can't remember many replies that were terribly useful anyway, only reason people so desperately want him to keep posting here - I reckon - is that the official communication channels of GOA are so bloody lousy that we take any little thing we can actually get.

This just ain't the real way to handle customers and atleast I think that they should listen customers a bit. But hey, who cares about customers aslong as we just get money?

So many players have quited lately and more players are quiting whole time. Who quit becouse daoc have came some other came what it had been when we started to play, who quits becouse GOA is just joke and some quits becouse of both reasons.

Of course you may ask that. Problem with posts like this one is that things tend to get out of hand. You will always have different opinions and thank god there are. It gets dangerous when people tend to get a tad more aggressive towards one another. In the end you will have nothing more but 2 sides flaming one another and you don't have to be Einstein to figure out what that can do to a community. The locking would prevent even more damage. Of course people quit but do you think less people will quit because you flame more? If that was the case then we would still have the complete playerbase we had a few years ago. I have no poblem if you vent some frustration but the art is to know where that thin line is. Something a few people have failed to do lately.
