There has always been probs with different play styles, even in the first weeks of pryd when ALL were xping and the highest levels were sub 20 we had power gamers v roleplayers, people excluded fom pve grps etc etc.

It's never been different and it never will be.

anyhow, manners has nothing to do with playstyles :sheepskip

Afaik red names determine enemies. Enemies are to be killed. Who cares how they die as long as they die. Fair fights? The only ones i see run in a FG from alb/mid are maelstrom, bulle at fersyk (smth like njah) and now AoD and another alb gg. And besides Maelstrom they all run in more then 1fg. Talk about fair fights. And then i get spammed with /rude by a child who wants all the rp's so he can brag to his gf that doesnt wear a bra yet. For adding ofc.
Running solo with my eld in hadrian's, i see a fg vs fg hib vs mid fight. Caring my own bussiness, 2 mids come running at me with their ugliness. I arm's lenght away and nuke them. And i get spammed for adding. Wont say who it was, but he was pink, a bard, under 10 irl and obviously TooCoolForSchool (get over yourself). A few days ago his bf that was mentioned in this thread be4 /rude's the hell out of me, calling me and my guild mates noob and all the other leet words that are so popular in 4th grade. And why? We ran past their fight since we've been accused of adding by them a few times that night, then i see that they r getting wtfomgpwnd (im so leet \o_) by mids. So we go help. And get spammed.
I guess us lowbies will just have to roll 20's and fight in thid, ofc if u dont have chars there. Otherwise we will just pve.
Conclusion: Im glad im not leet. It's so much better to have fun.

Ah, but were they 2 mids from the fg or 2 others that added? If it was the first then you made the fatal mistake of trying to defend yourself; you should have told the mids to bugger off and stick to the fg v fg fight they were involved in. If it was the latter (2 new adds) then you should have told them to not attack you and wait for the fg v fg fight to finish so the survivors from the hib group could farm them for rps. Tut tut tut Tad, how dare you defend yourself in the presence of a mighty hib group? Silly boy.

And yes, for those who can't tell I am being heavily sarcastic/ironic, not about Tadej but the people who were /rude to him.

More seriously, doesn't Tad's experience serve to show just how stupid this idea about not adding/rp leaching in the frontiers has become? He gets /rude because he attacked 2 mids who turned to attack him? What was he supposed to do? Stand there and die because the hib group had not given him permission to shoot the mids that were attacking him? Tbh, if I'm getting attacked I will either defend myself or scarper irrespective of whether anyone else is fighting the person who is attacking me. If I got /rude over that then there'd be a chat log winging its way to GOA before you could say omg.

Is this why non-BB healers now find it hard to find RvR groups? Surely, it is the duty of every hibbie to lay down his or her life so a hibbie rezzer can earn rps from rezzing their realm mates?

Also, I presume you know that in NF the ress sickness coding was changed to penalise releasing over rezzing? The rezz sickness impacts and timers are longer for releases than they are for rezzes.

Completely irrelevant as resurrection sickness is long gone by the time you get into action again.

To be honest Briannon you'r more or less trying to enforce your own view on the game onto others who really want to play their own game. Yes, I do agree about the politeness etc, but you can't change people's mind about RvR.
