recent information has been bought out saying that the decline in oil supply will have more effect on the environment that Kyoto.

This dosnt realy stop the hurricane tho. But if thats how you wanna go about it, the best way would be to build the city where a hurricane wont hit. But even if the city is 50000 miles away you dont stop the hurricane, it just dont cause the havoc.

cause US stand for 1/4 of the worlds polution (about the Kyoto)

and China who is exempt due to being a developing country is the 2nd largest.

The issue is that Kyoto will have almost no effect on pollution. Its something like the pollution levels in 2100 with the protocols in effect will be the same as in 2095 or so without the protocols. However, the damage to the economy would not be so slight.

The protocols are specifically designed to hurt the developed world's economy (which is a bad thing) and don't actually affect global pollution much anyway.

Also, global warming scientists are constantly reducing their estimates of how much the temperature is going to rise (because it hasn't risen like they said it would given the current CO2 levels). This should tell you that their models are either flawed due to lack or knowledge or more likely flawed due to wanting their models to match what the funding agencies want.

I tend to understand your feelings but its a terrible thing to happen to ANY nation. There are always innocent ppl involved who have nothing to do with the idiotic decisions of the US gouvernment. So you saying that you feel like it happened to the right nation makes my stomach go a bit upset tbh. cos nobody deserves this.

Dead ppl are still in the streets of New Orleans after all this time. Everyone blaming each other, and another huricane on the way....
