Will get a Wii as well personally, cheap enough, although not many games announced worth getting at release :/

There's a list somewhere Shishi that lists all backwards compatible Xbox games, just search Google for "Xbox 360 backwards compatibility list" or smth.

One other thing worth noting is MS aren't going to price drop it before Xmas apparently, I was going to wait but when they announced that about 2 months ago I saw little point waiting that long. Needs to make sure you get the premium version too really, hard drive is pretty essential cos Xbox live arcade stuff rocks.

exact, MS at release promessed to extend the list with time.
1st it was pretty limited,to only few titles.
After several months ppl were still bitching about it since they couldnt play most of old xbox games on the new console.

Metroid isn't a launch title now tho, not due until like 2007 sometime apparently So at release it's just Zelda that really shines, maybe the new Mario I think that's out at release and Red Steel, that's about it, unless you include Wii sports but that comes with the console anyway

aww, no idea when the titles were about to come out, just interesting titles that I would like to play. Tought I read somwhere that they would make a FF for Nintendo Wii aswell tho I realy can't understand why they would do something like that as its been made for playstation before, but I cant remember where I read it so no idea if its something I dreamt or missread somwhere

Have you seen how silly the ps3 game boxes look btw? They are small like gameboy boxes and it says PLAYSTATION 3 on its side instead of the game title..lol

and speaking of ps3 - they might have oblivion with their release titles.... abit late imo

I really do hope the PS3 is as big a flop as Sony are trying their hardest to make it be. Sony just deserve a hell of a lot of misfortune for being such idiots this past year.
