This only proves to me that subcriptions are way too high. No way could Blizzard need that amount of money to run the business for one month!

Or another way to look at, £50 Million a month = £600 Million a year, which is roughly what Paul McCartney is worth... and it's taken him 44 years to earn it!

It's ridiculous. They ought to reduce subscriptions to £5 a month or less. :z

Rather than just insult it would be more useful to constructively dissect Gands post.

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire...the A(nimist)-Team

Cue music for full effect.

LA2 is way to Diablo like for me, got a m8 who plays LA2.

IIRC lvl 75 is max and if you die you lose xp as in daoc, but if you lose enough xp you go down a lvl as well.

The PvP part is kinda like WoW but more like guild vs. guild stuff.

You have to factor in the risk associated with producing the game and the productions costs. Also, the more subscribers they have the larger the cost to them. It would be interesting to know what is the split of costs for a "normal" MMORPG. If they didn't have to pay for dev, what could they charge.

Now, you are probably right, they are raking it in. However, they just have to charge the same as everyone else. The is the benefit of capitalism, if you do better (and in this case alot better) than everyone else, you make a load.
It's ridiculous. They ought to reduce subscriptions to £5 a month or less.
The question is if reducing the price would attract more customers. If you decrease your prices by 5% and end up with 10% more customers, that's a win ... esp if there is little extra cost per customer.

Or it means WoW and other mmorpgs have more fans than Paul McCartney has...

Even when u call it ridiculous, i'd still like to have his bank account, don't think he has lots to worry about.
