Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni 1 out! Subbed by a new group called Wind, who seemed to do a decent enough job overall (no glaring mistakes that my newbish ears could detect anyways.. except the WTF! bit ), the subs for the ED made me lol
So first we open on the shot of some guy beating two girls to a bloody pulp (complete with squelchy noises - eww) and then the OP, which is an awesome song and good accompanying visuals. I want ze full version Anyhows after that it's completely normal harem fare, schoolboy surrounded by schoolgirls etc~ Except every now and then it's clear there's something more sinister under the surface (besides it's stuck in your mind from the brain bashing + OP ).. anyhows the end of the episode is a "omg something's gonna happen" cliffhanger.. but will anything actually happen?! I'll have to keep watching and see I guess! (they got me :< )
The show definitely shows a lot of potential anyhows, as long as they cut down on the crappy harem a bit from now on Though I guess they give a good contrast to the creepiness. Kurogane says ep2 is good, though I resisted seeing any details of what may happen, so I shall patiently wait and see!

Have seen the first ep of 2 new series now:
Himawari, it's some kind of Ninja's in training school, where the regular normal non-ninja guy is hired to become a teacher. In the first ep we only were introduced to various kunoichi, so it seemed kinda haremish, but next ep seems to have some male ninjas too so maybe it's not going down a haremish path.. the main girl, Himawari, is a new transfer to the school, and decides she wants the new teacher to be her goshujin-sama.. she's pretty cute so I wouldn't say no, but the new teacher (you can tell I paid great attention to his name can't you?) isn't too interested Seemed alrightish a series anyhows, I'll be sticking with it a while more too
Renkin San kyuu Magical Pokaan, I wonder what that name means Anyhows this is a light comedy series about 4 girls (a vampire, catgirl, cyborg, magician) living together and generally being silly I guess. Not particularily funny though, so I guess this series fails ;( Oh but wait, the girls are cute, especially the vampire girl (have I developed a vampire fetish thanks to eva-sama in negima?!) x< so I'll be sticking with it a while more!

At the moment i got bleach volumes 1-4 off my brothers mate who knows some people from Neo magazine and lent it to us, what an amazing series it is .. only on episode 40 so far but so funny yet so violent i love it. Best series of anime so far that i seen but then i don't have time nor money to download /buy shed loads of anime series.
I recommend it to everyone , esepcially some of the theme tunes they rock

It seems some people have begun on translating the Haruhi novels! I rejoice \o/ http://www.baka-tsuki.net/project/index ... iya_Haruhi So far looks like ep2+3 were chapters 1 and 2 of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (the first novel, of 7), so at that rate, the series which is only scheduled to be 14 episodes would likely cover about 2 novels worth of material oO Though I guess after all the important introductory type chapters are gotten through they may skip more bits so maybe it'd be more like 3 novels worth? Either way it sure seems like there'd be a lot of scope for a second series!
Up to episode 54 i think of Bleach .. man it getting insane wonder what that old dued with flames will do . And ichigo looksl ike something out of final fantasy with that cloak . I get the feeling his gonna become half /hollow/half deathgod but we shall see, god im gonna be pissed when i run out of episodes
