Kyon's narration was so great. It's all the little things that really made me love it though.. like how in the opening credits, everyone is playing themselves, but their first names are written in kanji for the character and in katakana for the actor to make it appear they're different, or how Mikuru randomly and inconsistently has differently colored eyes, or the really really bad acting throughout, or how itsuki goes totally over the top with his hand gestures when he actually gets to talk a lot at last etc..
that looked way too good to be something they faked!

Mikuru recognises Yuki (at the club room) cos clearly she's a timetraveller/alien type too! And what is it that makes this all (or most of it) definitely true? I'm caught up with episode2 now, it generally makes episode 1 seem alot less weird, i love the way she kidnapped Mikuru (and only because she is cute and has Huge mellons! which she sampled and offered him a feel too!)
I'm wondering about that too, i guess something like theres going to be loads and loads of Alien/time traveler stuff going on around her without her picking it up
After watching Air I knew they were pretty wow-some, but Haruhi just blows me away with all the little things (everybody is way more "active" than in most animes, hand movements and such, haruhi playing with/flicking her hair (the fact hair actually moves rather than being a fancy pattern glued only a character's head which a nuclear bomb couldn't distort), the way kyon holds his brow in pain at haruhi's stupidity/eccentricity etc.. so many things!) but this season has such a flood of anime that I may have to be more conservative than normal!). More tail fondling wouldn't hurt in swaying my interests either!.
