Yeah I always make sure I check up on local customs now before I travel to different places, luckily it saved me from calling the Navajo in Arizona/Utah indians Funny thing about that though is that their politically correct name is "Native Americans" yet when I met them a lot of them dislike even being called that and preferred to just be called Navajo people

Mods made it clear they didn't want lists of this type & yet he perseveres?? & by editing an edit it means it's not a new list? Don't suppose he's a trainee lawyer by any chance? That's up there with 'I didn't stab him with a knife your honour - I was holding it & he kept falling onto it'.
On the bright side I've learnt something from this thread. Never call an eskimo an eskimo. Ohh & that Quin is fluffy, & that I'd forgotten how good Bob's lyrics were. Cloud, Silver, Lining & all that.
