DR seems to be a personal thing.
I personally love the quests its brought in as they are well thought out and fun to do, however, other peeps find it boring.
The champ levels are hard to gain xp for but the champ weps and epics make finding a template easier

And because all epics are merged at X level (unsure which) you can take any class along to do it

But you do get horses

250g Basic mount only at 35 - this horse is NOT usable in rvr and runs at 35% speed.
1p horse allowed with DR at 45 - this horse is usable in rvr and runs at 45% speed.
and other rvr horses allowed when X champ level.
Champ level 3 = access to backpacks on your horse which makes it easier to carry siege etc.

Ooh and dont forget to visit the pub or the festival. I recomend the Vodka or the Superior Elven Wine (hic)

Hey Mare, great to hear from you again!

I've just gone back to DAoC after a very long break, and I must say it felt like coming home

I haven't got that much time to spend ingame, but the time I spend in there is fun.

I soloed a Tower of Nottmore yesterday and claimed it for the Nuts!
It was great fun, and something so wrong to see : a Luri swinging a ram into a keepdoor

anyway ... looking forward to see some more Nuts online!

Well I have just bought a new house and have almost finished decoraeing the new computer room.

Im thinking of defo having a bit of a return to DAOC to explore DR and catch up with old friends.

Hopefullly within the next week I will return, I did speak to hooner as well and he was mumbeling about maybe returnign for a bit, but he has a new job in Newport so does a lot of traveling , and his time is consumed with EvE.

Glad to here from you both and glad you are all well.

Ill see you in tree hugging land very sooon ;0p
