House hookpoint items... question....

Can you store hookpoint items from your house in your backpack, then either sell your house, or let it get repossessed, so that you can buy another house in a different location and re-use the hookpoint items?

Yep you can.

Just pick them up and they appear in your backpack. For example the Hibernia porter

I put mine in the vault so i can quickly swap them out with any char.

you get to keep em if u lose ur house too.

unless you mean things like weapons you put on the walls in which case no you cant. Everything else in the house as a pysical representation that will go in your inventory.

what gandelf is asking (i think) is say he took his house vault and put it in awarkles house.
Would he be able to access the items.
In my experience this is a negative

house vaults are bound to the house hook point.

To clarify what I meant...

I have the following hookpoints items...

Bind stone
Vault
Hibernian Vaultkeeper
Alchemy Table
Hibernian Teleporter
Incantation Merchant
Consignment Merchant

If I place the above items in my backpack, can I take them with me to my new house and re-use them? Or can I store them in the normal Hibernia Vaultkeeper npc? I am concerned that the items may disappear from the vaultkeeper or my backpack if I log out.

Also, will the items stored in my CM and house vault stay in those places? Or will they dissapear if I vault them?

P.S. I do fully understand that I will lose the cottage and the porch.

No, you wont loose whats at your CM. As soon as you let your char build a new personal house and you put it up again - the items will appear again (atleast thats what it did for me)

The actual hookpoint items are just like any item and can be traded/stored in the same way as any other item.

take everything out your house vault tho gandelf
not sure on consignment. they could be with the peson but house vaults are related to the house.
When you put your vault in your new house it WILL be empty.

least it was last time i tried.
