You may like to think that everyone is here on sufferance and that therefore it's some kinda club owned by Banana and you're one of the bouncers, but I doubt very much whether Banana herself sees it that way.
The prydwen.net community is without a doubt enabled by the work done on the forum past and present, but it is also here because the prydwen community was pleasant and friendly and people wanted to be part of it. That's not gonna last long if we turn it into some kinda private club where a few chosen individuals can do what they like and others are told they should be grateful for even being allowed to post.
Maybe you could lay off a bit on the hard line stuff and get a bit of perspective. I disagreed with something Sat and Thand said to Gandelf, and I criticised them for it, and then Sat created this thread (in response or not in response, whatever you like). All this putting your boot in doesn't really help anyone.
Perhaps you need to lay off thinking you have some god given right to dictate forum policy and rules?
I haven't once said for a second that we should turn this into some private club so I've no idea why you made that random crap up. Well actually that's a lie, I do know why, you did it in an attempt to strengthen your weak argument and try and put me down in the process, but I don't think anyone's dumb enough to fall for it luckily. If your selective memory allows you to think back you'll remember that Pryd.net was down for a good month or more until Banana finally bit the bullet it to pay for the domain out of her own pocket and Ayana donated the hosting, also when Tenpit originally tried to offload the weight of the forums the only serious offer that stepped up was Kesxex's which for some reason also failed and was given up on after a short while. The fact is, the only people serious about keeping these forums afloat have been Banana, Ayana and Tenpit, therefore, at the end of the day it's their say how the forums are run.
Also, as you always do when your arguments begin to fail you start to twist things, in this case you're suddenly suggesting that my comments with regards to you not paying for the forum hence not being in a position to dictate it's policies is somehow related to my comments regarding the Gandelf/Satyn incident, just to clear things up for you as you seem a little confused:
- I stated that you can't dictate whether or not mods are allowed an opinion as it's not you who dictates forum policy as it's not you who stepped up to pay for and ensure the forums kept afloat.
- I stated that Satyn's comments towards Gandelf were no more personally focussed than yours to Satyn
Quite how you managed to merge the two all of a sudden I'm not sure.

Depends, I'm not saying you should bow down to the mods over anything, I am saying however that you can't just go saying Satyn shouldn't be allowed to be treated the same as any other forum user. Your argument would be valid if it was in response to a moderator/admin decision that resulted in a vast majority disagreement with the decision but in this case it's not - it's undetermined eitherway so to spout it as gospel is unfair. It's just not a valid tool to use to try and suggest Satyn has done anything wrong. Also I'm amazed that you haven't managed to notice that the decrease in forum population correlates with the decrease in server population.
