peeps keep saying america and britian were wrong to start this and perhaps they were however sadam and the peeps in charge were pure evil to those peeps who lived there. But the only reason they went in in the first place was because when they first got there they ASKED if they could have osma and sadam refused. Peeps forget that bit..

After speaking with Banana, Xest, it seems people are very misinformed about Lady Thatcher! Maybe thats where all this hate comes from

- i actually used to like maggie and felt sorry for her when she left but peeps hate her for a reason and hate the conservatives for a reason cuz no matter how much blair seems to mess up peeps still vote for him.

sorry was a mildly funny thought. That guy who was capturered that 90 yr old. They had his friend on jerremy vine a while back and he bascially said at the end that it wasnt so bad if anything dodgy did happen as he had had a long and good life.
Im sure he didnt mean it the way i took it but was i creasing at the thought of hordes of pensioners with zimmerframes slowly mooching across a no-mans-land

Back in the Clinton years where ever Osma was at the time, the government offered to hand him over, but Clinton declined.. Was osma even in Iraq? :S I thought that was Afghanistan?

Didn't Maggie win 3 elections? The same as Tony has done so far, and if he does leave soon as expected the same as he ever will.

The reason they have both done long terms is that they are/were much stronger leaders than the opposition could put up.

There is actually very little between the parties, I seem to remember a stat during one of the elcetions that the difference in their spending was something like 2%... hardly worth fighting over

I think you'll find the conservatives did very well considering the catastrophy of an economy Thatcher inherited from the socialist government..
