asterixxx his name is gone aswell, so are more ppl's names nothing we can do about it. The only thing i'm worried about is those ppl pretending to be the ppl they 'stole' their names off.

Considering the number of Prydwen names which aren't available I'll guess it's something to do with the way the server has been set up & not due to people stealing well-known characters names.

That's what I think also. I mean, what are the chances of someone picking "Gandelf" as a name, within 15 minutes of both servers coming up?

You'd expect me to make sure I got my name, but 15 minutes?? Come on!

Maybe GOA are pre-empting the possibility of other servers clustering, so they are making sure that certain names are "no go"?

15 minutes after opening of server can very well be 14 minutes to late.

It was stated on E&E forums by a GM I am not willing to name, that they reserved the name Gandelf and took bets among the GMs that you will make a new thread about it. I think Requiel's paycheck will be €10 higher this month
