My wide guess it's the peeps find it amusing that WE are the ones who must be active (for free i might add) on monitoring ping times and packet losses of THEIR partner network.Quinlan wrote:You have to keep in mind that Opentransit people have to fix this problem. One way to get faster resolution is to have as many different pingplots as possible. If they just provide one which clearly states the problem opentransit can say. Look only 1 person has this problem..low priority. But that gets really hard to do when you have xxx numbers of pingplots showing the same problem.
And once again GOA themselves cannot fix this problem they have to get someone else to do it. Been said alot of times already in this thread Bebop.
There are plenty of softwares out there which are capable of getting monitored main routes from their Server Farm to the main countries they serve. Ofc then u need to pay some1 to check those logs and bite OT to fix problems BEFORE they start to be annoying for your customer base (that's called Proactive Monitoring, every half decent company who's business is Internet Based got that kind of figure), but guess it's asking too much to a firm like Goa.
