I would not put it as strongly as this. Who knows what flack he is taking in work let alone what he is taking here. Walk a day in his shoes before getting too personal. However that said a personal opinion is that yes his reaction in this thread was OTT and it caused a lot of this flaming. I know this is a pretty controversal thing to say, but having Requiel as a customer facing person is just another blatant thing that GOA are doing wrong, they need someone who can actually do the job.

This is probably about the only thing left which might make GOA react, if only to close the English-cluster because it might no longer be profitable after a certain number of account closures, even if that doesn't seem likely looking at the population of the spanish server. I challenge you to tell me where does it say DAoC needs to have RvR zones as part of the €10 I spend a month per account, and asking you at the same time, what would you say if hypoteticly Frontiers would suddenly dissapear from servers? and IMO i think we get good value form money tbh.. for what £2.00 a week you get to play a game online and interact with people from EU and your own country.. for what less that a Pint of beer.. also people complaining about the xml being down,.. where exactly does it say from GOA that the xml data is included in the service of which Goa offer for the paying of £2.00 a week - £8.00 pm..
ahh i hear you say "well mythic offer xml" <sniffle sniffle> but Goa aint mythic and what say mythic stopped there xml.. I say mythic offer xml as a nice little on the side service... and as they are the game producers they can write it into the coding when doing patches.. where as Goa have to wait to get the patches then translate them then write coding for xml files which incidentally is different to Mythics because its most probably copywrited..
so i challenge somebody here and now to show me where it says GOA have to offer the xml service as part of the £8.00 I spend a month per account..
im not standing Goa's corner with being e&e and yes xml is handy when its up and working and has been a great feature, but it hasnt stopped anybody from playing.. and i see its annoying not to be there.. but if its a added feature and not a service product.. then we have no right to argue and flame the people and company who give us this FREE service.
