/ignore

Post by Kallima »

I've just been trying and failing to get /ignore to work on someone from Excalibur. I could still hear them in battlegroup and in say.

Anyone know if /ignore works in Battlegroup these days, I know it didn't at one point?

/ignore should definitely work on say messages. Anyone know how to get this to work on someone from Excalibur? I tried /ignore name-e, /ignore name-Excalibur, ended up with them on my ignore list three times and was still hearing them.

Sounds like something a GM should have a look at. It probably just checks with just prydwen and not with excalibur names when using your ignore list.

But then if that is the case, then its unlikely they will be able to fix it fast. (possibly something to report to mythic though)

I did report this on Rightnow, rather reluctantly since I'm not sure everyone has had their stuff restored yet. I was hoping maybe someone had got it to work and could tell me what I was doing wrong. I'm shortly going on another master level raid and may hit the same problem.

I suppose I can try the roleplay filter to convert certain phrases into 'this guy thinks he is down the pub with a bunch of drunk lads'

I got a sort of semi answer on this from GOA. Ignore doesn't work in battlegroup, but they did tell me how to set things so I can only hear the battlegroup leader, which could help.
