One forum to bind them all?
The new forum structure looks a lot better - more open to whereever they play. I think the idea to have a common forum should be the main goal for the clustered community - whether this is Freddyshouse, Prydwen.net or something new is to be seen.
From history FH and Pryd.net both have settled communities that now have to find a common way.
Problem for some gamers is that while pryd.net is accessible through work, FH is banned or isn't accessible due to language used (I get normally one in 10 threads on FH which are blocked by our web software where I get none on pryd.net).
For this reason alone FH won't be the home for all.
Looking at it from the other side, FH was and is the main forum for Excal Hibs and there is a strong community. FH allows flame wars (which most Pryd players consider immature and take part in) which are not allowed on Pryd.
Let's see how this comes along but if any coders have some spare time it would be nice to have a common raid page (hosted wherever) that populates a calendar from both sites.
