I agree, grown men bitching at each other is pointless. However, none of the posts I made were empty bitching. I personally was attempting originally to discuss our right to make pricing observations. All comments about Quinlan's moderation I made were only in response to actions he took.

I've never seen a price discussion moved to the spam forum before and actually I've rarely seen (successful) forums where the moderators are so aggressive to other users, making direct and indirect attacks on them.

I think ideal moderators are the ones with no strong opinions, since strong opinions make them conflicted in the role as mods. If I was a mod, you would rarely see me post an opinion, since disassociation is key to impartiality and impartiality is key to fairness. Mind you, the fact I would feel obliged not to give my opinion is exactly why I'd never wanna be a mod ]Subject!

Point taken, Banana, but it's not that I am deliberately derailing a topic. Sometimes discussions lead into other discussions. I'm pretty sure the originator of this thread (Erce) would not object to us making our points about the difficulties we're encountering with moderators.

As it is Xest has made a poll and thread regarding moderation where all the moderation complaints should now be addressed.
This subject is about the downtime chars are facing in regards to non-items and i seriously doubt requiel will comment in a thread in which has gone completly OTT and is a internal squabble.

I don't think it's particularly fair to link Requiel not responding to the fact it has recently gone off topic. The thread was up for more than 2 days before the first off topic post.

Not that I think Requiel should be roaming forums replying to threads. I just don't wanna be put up as the reason he hasn't replied to this one. I'd assume the reason he hasn't replied is that he has more important things to do. He's already given us a post updating us on progress.
