I'm interested if someone can explain to me what is needed to kill those 2 mobs and if someone wanna sell kraken belt or levi ring of deep im interested too :)cheers in advance

I never managed to get loot from Kraken, somehow our 'tactics' make the encounter bug up, resulting in no loot, no XP no nothing ..... I saw VP guys did Kraken successfull quite a few times, perhaps they can tell you (VP= Village People on Hib/Pryd)

For Levi its quite easy: Some tank keep rightclicking Levi (to keep him in spot), 5 animists shroom up, pull and it dies quite reasonably fast. Group 2 druids to be safe (2 druid, 5 ani's, 1 tank) and it dies within 1~ minute. Verdant animist who can spam a few PBAE on the adds helps tremendously, also BOF on druid helps alot. When Levi FZ's you, just try to get back to shroomsies asap. Rezzbot outside group is wise, keep him away from the adds, they will aggro the rezzbot (!!).

Not sure about other peoples experiences, but these encounters seem much much harder after the latest patch.

Kraken pre-patch was 30 secs and dead, post patch with same setup, 2 mins, mob to 98% group wiped.

The defences against shrooms in particular seem to have been much improved as suggested in the patch notes.

I am guessing folks who got their items off these mobs pre-patch will be much happier than those still looking.

If someone has done these two mobs post patch will be interested in the tactics tho:)

Stun and 6-8 animists on kraken for immense overkill in short period with new patch.

we were killing kraken pre patch with 3 anis warden and druid, not sure if it still works but shroom up just outside krakens aggro radius, pull with an ani in an arc around the shrooms while spamming heals with warden. Drop twf and loot. If your looking to farm it with such a setup (if it still is farmable that is) make sure you have plenty of patience

Read the patch notes - Kraken and Levi will no longer suffer from a defense penalty from multiple attackers.

That wasn't the problem.

Kraken destorys shrooms immensely quick.
