hmm depends how you classify players really.
No disrespect but not all players who got high rr or thousands of spam ie.: fame play(ed) outstanding, more like was at the right place at the right time, or could i say ended up within a good bunch?
Especially in daoc where the game evolved into different scenarios time to time... or patch to patch
Anyone remembers how archers owned, then assassins, then caster grps with baod-moc, then tanks grps with svgs and zerks and bonedancers and and.... Thats why i wouldnt make a best all time thingy, couse it doesnt exist really. Many ppl like to go nostalgic about stuff like "omg that infil was the best, or that ns was the best or that chanter/svg etc", but they tend to forget that assassins were op with 90% evade / ip / sh or chanters with perma caping on dds, no resists, moc baod, lets not mention zerkers or svgs
my 2 cents.
a self experience of being at the right place and time:
one time i joined severance grp with my ickle chanter(which was an ok-average mix grp at that time) and killed 3-4fg albs in hadrians. Did i play uber? no Was it a good time for hib pb grps? yes and that patch lasted kind of long
