Help for people who lost stuff

I'm a bit confused about how the GOA effort is gonna leave people who have lost items, but am I right in thinking there could be some pretty hard to get stuff not being replaced?

If that is the case, does anyone wanna help out on some raiding to get replacement items? The idea would be that we all help out, and people who lost items that can be got from arti or ML encounters let us know what they are, then we all head out and try to get them.

This thread is just initially to guage (a) whether people who lost items will need/want this kind of help and (b) how many other people are willing to come along and help.

Clearly we're relying pretty much on people's decency here. I'm trusting that noone would be low enough to abuse this help with bogus losses.

Well I for one would find this useful, it is a nice offer of help but don't expect peeps to be too forthcoming on this one as they will want the money from those that get it first and then their generosity may be a bit more open for view. It's like life and mother nature itself - the strong will prey on the weak and in this instance expect people to prey on other's misfortune >(

From Requiels post on FH it seems that all UNIQUE items are going to be replaced. These are items such as Ring of the Heavens, Immolated Ring, Blackened Wrap, etc. Artefacts will also be replaced. RoG Items/Armour and Crafted will not, but money will be given so you may get the armour crafted again. Templates with RoG Items/Armour in will be ruined ofcourse.

I appreciate the offer but well I say thanks, but no thanks. No thanks, I don't want any help in this matter by the community. I want all things restored properly by GOA, no less no more. I don't care if it would be difficult or if it would be time consuming or if they had Mythic actually do something. If they want to keep me paying subs, they should better make up for the mess they did. All chars were in perfect order before serverdown, I didn't miss anything so my best guess still is they messed everything up with their first attempts to fix it. It isn't under any circumstances tolerable for me, that the player community makes up for mistakes by the service provider... and putting insane amounts of money into the game to compensate isn't in any case an idea worth thinking of as compensation. It'll ruin the game economy by putting back in money but not equivalent items.

GoA will not replace artifacts. Just before the crash I traded a GoV and the scrolls for it, I have reported it to GoA and they basically said that if I don't have it, and the guy who I traded with doesn't (which he doesn't), the it is lost, I find this unacceptable and makes moving to this realm/server that little bit harder.

Not too bothered about GoV, as with some help that can be got again. However, I don't have any "farming classes" to get the rare scrolls, and Love Story 3/3 is 40P :shock: on the CM (which is WAY beyond my means).

So, I am happy to help out where I can, would be interesting who will "have to log" when they get their item/s?

Huh? But I know there are lots of people who have had their artifacts back.. if you read requiels post it explains how they check before giving stuff back.
