Edit: I personally liked Metallica until they started to make those records with the symphony orchestra. Nowadays I just find them pathetic (sorry mate )

Edit2: Latest record was a nice try getting back to their roots but none of the songs was really catchy. Anyway, as long as you dont like rap/hiphop/r&b I respect your taste in music

Should be Iron maiden, Metallica (not ST. Anger but I do like S&M most only listen to that record nowadays), Freedom Call etc etc.
