Prydwen-down (discussion thread NO FLAMES)

it might not be right... but to be fair he does explain why he does it.... and to be honest this forum is the home forum for Hib/Pryd... Alb and Mid use FH more than us and they make up 2/3 the prydwen population... majority rule and all that.

And I would rather that Xalin posted on one forum and keep whipping the techies to fix the problem rather than "waste" his time posting on all the various forums (FH, Pryd and various guild forums)

I understand why FH and not here. I also understand why they don't want to post too much on the main home page, but I really think they should have posted a little more than once every 24 hours. Even if they just change the Prydwen troubles post to keep the quantity of posts down.

Well i can only get access to pryd.ent (/hug) but not FH , so i'm blind as it where if it's posted only on FH

aye I do try nudging them into posting more info... but as I keep getting told.. making corporate statements on the site is a load of beauocracy (sp) and red tape. Just hoping that it does get sorted before tomorrow...

In other words, they're trying their best not to have anyone outside those effected by the problem knowing how badly they've screwed up (again).

not entirely true. just no point in explaing the nature if the problem in depth to the majority of the community who, whith the greatest respect, dont have the technical knowledge to understand the problem.

Think back Xest to the days before Kemor... now think about what info we are being given now... it may not be regular enough for some but it is still a shitload more feedback then we ever got in the old days... I honestly think that peoples memories are getting shorter.

well not really complaining and I belive they do everything the can ofcourse, but what info about the problem have we been given really?

They don't really have to make an full explanation, telling about evey little technical detail, but could say something "havent seen anything useful if it has come up", people aint that dum ;D can handle atleast couple of words of info about a tech prob ;P

Imo it really doesnt matter what problems they got..the only thing that matters is that they manage to solve it and the server start again. I seriously doubt you/me will get online faster just cos they give the exact details
