US time zones are as follows (at least - I'm ignoring Samoa and weird parts of the continental US where they don't use daylight savings time):

It's only PST half the year, just like the time in the UK is only GMT half the year, which brings this thread full circle.

Thank God for George Stephenson. Who? The man who was the father of the train really, because without the train, 'time' as we know it wouldn't exist. The new technology meant that a standard time table was needed, and thus 'time' was born. Prior to this, time would be organised locally, so the time in London would be totaly different to the time in Birmingham for example.

Just imagine when we conquer the stars, hehe thats gonna be ace, imagine trying to organise ml10 with players light years apart :)

Quite simple.

English time + 1 = Central European Time (paris/madrid). Anytime. Whatever you call them.

Yeah, and people in Alpha Centauri are still going to blame Goa for the 8+ year ping times :). No amount of ping plotter screenies showing that the lag is somewhere between
