does any druid on prydwen use buff sheers?
i know if i play the bb (rarely) as a healer i never use sheers simply cause..well too much going on besides adding that to it

Haven't played for a while now, but when I used to RvR with my druid (42 nurt, 33 reg) I found that if I had time to buff shear then the battle was going in our favour and the shearing probably was rather irrelevant anyway.Banana wrote:just out of cuirosity -

It's different now, Midgard doesn't have to give up any healing to sheer, shammys can happily strip away between disease spams so druids/clerics really need to find time to countersheer else you find your group unbuffed fighting a still fully buffed group.Cernos wrote:Haven't played for a while now, but when I used to RvR with my druid (42 nurt, 33 reg) I found that if I had time to buff shear then the battle was going in our favour and the shearing probably was rather irrelevant anyway.
The main chance to drop some shears comes on initial contact - it can help to pick out the casters (sorcs especially) and dump acuity and dex shears on them.
Or there's always timing the con shear just right to get some druid death spam
Point is if you strip enemy acuity, dex and str buffs your group wont be taking as much damage anyway making healing easier. Ever seen what a total gimp a caster turns into when they have no dex or acuity buffs?Cuchuluhain wrote:once again id counter that -the primary healer- in my case the Druid DOESNT HAVE time to do more than try to keep his group alive in a fight, every *slow* cast I throw a debuff with is 500-1000 less hp for my group
if I have time to sheer, the battles already won and Im already doign what I can to ensure my side continues to have the advantage, throwing roots around and siccing my pet in.
Roll on 1.75 so I can have 3+ quick bars and then maybe I can actually try to use these flaming things
