dont really think albs ever xp`ed in the frontiers much, not in OF anyway,

the only decent spot was those bean things? (cant remember name) those that had a nasty dd and was hard as hell to spot in day time, they where around the hill top just as you enter pennies from sauvage, uber pl spot for a necro anyway :)

other than that it been avalon since SI and before that it was df/goblins/trees

TBH Ankh, as a rule Albs don't PL in the frontier. There is one spot where you might find them and that's at the Ellyll camp. It's near Bold IIRC, and is also a great spot to XP artifacts (it's also the final step in the Guild of Shadows Epic, used by at least 4 Alb classes IIRC).

I have used it a lot in the past as an alternative to PoC when the entrance is being camped.

The best PL spot in Alb as a whole is in Adland in SI and is basically a bug. It's called Orc Armies, and basically what you do is start the quest in Krondon. Three or four groups of Ogres march from Krondon down to the beach and wait on a hill. Around six groups of yellow/orange con Orcs appear near them. You then kill all the Ogre groups except the last group. With this, you kill all the soldiers, but leave the Ogre Leader.

Using a Scorcher pet on a Sorc or Minstrel, or a Servant spec Necro you then kill all of the Orcs. Once they are dead, one person attacks the Ogre Leader and runs away (in the direction of Krondon - back the way the Ogres came basically). After a short distance, the Ogre ceases the pursuit and walks back to his spot on the beach, making the Orcs re-pop.

The XP is unbelievable with just one puller and leech, and the salvage is equally good.

The only issue is that the Leader is a plain old mob like any other, and if he is killed it can take 3-4 days for the quest to re-pop. What occasionally happens is that people ask to join for XP, are refused (typical greedy Alb attitude TBH) and the person turned down kills the Leader out of frustration/spite.

It is a great spot though.

HTH :)

Ahh..cheers, but tbh it was mostly the artifact exping I was thinking off (should have made that clear from the start) but now I know where to exp in all frontiers atleast. Quite nice to know incase I decide to play other realms for once.
Cheers all of you!

Just answering the main post wich I think has (again) left unnoticed by constant spam from Ankh =))

Yes Finliath spawnrate around the legendary 4fins tree has dropped to aprox 15-25 seconds, from previous 1-3 seconds, the number of fins have raised to 6 near the tree. Its no longer a good spot for a FG to farm, but definetly it still is nice, quiet and safe spot to xp after CM gets boring. Ench with BB can carve 1-5 plat a day there alone. 3Fins got the same treatment, longer spawnrate. Near the log tho is again increased finliath amount, and that is definetly a good place for tank grp after CM, and before you want to go out to frontiers. (12-15 fins + 5 shade mobs).

Fins and any 24h pl has seizd to exist merely due lack of intrest to make new toons. There still is plenty of places tho.

If ya need more info about PL'ing, proper spots or anything related to farming of any kind (in hib), send a PM. =)

The helpfullness of the hib/pryd players is what makes this such a great realm to be in. Let's hope the clustering won't mess it up sehesp:

Not sure if I agree tbh, Rami and I exped there for several hours with 1fg and we got really awsome experience and couldnt understand why it was abandoned (also had great camp bonus since ppl hardly ever exp there anymore)
