this happened last time you went away too...
3 Animists doesnt equal 80 shrooms afaik, & if i understand this part of your reply right, what your saying is, most Albs are thick as two short planks ?Bubble wrote:Don't start me off again Cuchuluhain
I didn't want to get into any animist discussions etc but every hib wants to bring up how innocent they are.
Well
I agree
Animists are a half finished bugged class that can't really compete against the albion/midgard caster class's, any animist who gets further than rr3 deserves respect (specialy ones that run in open rvr)
But think about this-
your an alb raid leader attacking a keep, you've just got the 2nd door down. You know there are 40 people with you attacking the keep. You also know there are 20 hib defenders in lords room (3 of which are animists)
You ask the Raid force to charge the lords room, pop every AoE effect they have and MoC etc and interupt like mad etc, the first merc runs into the lords room and dies to 80 odd shroom nukes, the other 39 albs back off as to say, i'm not going into that death trap. As a raid leader you know that if the 39 of them charge together, the shrooms would take out 3 or 4 albs pretty fast but you would totaly outnumber the hibs and interupt/kill them.
Unfortuantly no one wants to be the first few to go up there (read: die pretty fast) so as a raid leader you lead by example and lead the charge, you run into the room and die to shrooms, the rest of the raid backs off and starts calling for clerics with EoY to rez the raid leader
Same applys if a Banshee or 2 are spamming Cone DD's. no one wants to run into that shit so the whole BG stands still.
So to avoid any of the above happening, you attack at a time when you know there will not be enough Animists online to effectivly defend a keep.
You might find this sad as hell etc, but you wouldn't believe the ammount of times i've seen a Albion zerg held by a few Animists, i bet mids suffer the same. (no insta cc doesn't help)
Pretty much sums up most of us.Dardalion wrote:if i understand this part of your reply right, what your saying is, most Albs are thick as two short planks ?
Problem is, everyone is always busy on a raid/arti camping/stealth zerging bridges/leeching realm points. You guys didn't announce the relic raid before you started, so it had to fit into everyone's tight PvE schedules.Cryn wrote:If you can only get 44 people on a Friday night, as you claimed, you would surely not expect to beat any kind of reasonable defense? There could be zero animists or banshees there and you'd have no chance of taking the relics with that few people. That being the case, stop trying to use shrooms as a scapegoat.
Yay I deserve respectBubble wrote:I agree

You have a very funny way of playing in this realm. I personally will avoid any raids you run. From some of your comments on FH I would say you are dangerously close to cross realming that said at least now we know we cannot seriously trust you.Rejecta wrote:Albion did try a relic raid at primetime on several occations each time being owned by hibs coming with supperior numbers in a matter of minutes.
Maybe not have the memory of a fish and you will remember these things.
Oh and to all the "back to alb" sayers, I am still playing my bainshee :arti:
