Lenah,

Dont really know you only from hear say and from these boards. I've been told you're a wonderfull person aswell as a great leader. Grats for that.
I've been in your situation for far to long. Took Daoc for my real life and thought my friends in daoc were my only friends. But that tends to happen if you forget you have a real life. I didnt eat or sleep anymore, the only thing i did was smoking and drinking. So I DID end up in a mental situation. Now everyone knows, i'm not ashamed but its part of what a game can do to you. Its not all cos of this game but it did have a part in it.
This game is very addictive and certainly when you're a woman. 1 for 10/20? men, the attention you get is hallucinating.
Anyway my life did turn around when I took control again. I've got a nice place of my own now a 3 month old baby and a great husband.
And trust me girl, the REAL friends in game will still be your friends outside the game. Just dont be shocked if it arent as many as you thought they were.

BAh, one of the greatest parts about DAOC is the friends u have made over it, like Lenah.. i mean.. come on plz i consider lenah a mate just like everybody else, partly cuase of raids, partly cuase of chating, partly cuase of other stuff, but if she wants to go to WoW... then give her a month and she will be back playing DaoC (quite frankly WoW sux) if im wrong u lot can all slap me amillion times each lol

DUH, now i desided to read the entire topic, ok... so whos up for helping Lenah then?? saggestion i wood think, considering she has dont a hell of alot for our "Fun" with raids and what not, its the least we can do to be honest

Anyway, just wanna say Thanx alot Lenah for ur raids, i've only been in on 1 tho, but it was well done and really smooth leadership. Thats something u should work with imo. Few peeps out in the world r good leaders. Think about that dear.
