me and killsimba logged on together yesterday as we speak on TS and we were sitting at our computers from 10.00Am til around 1pm when the servers came back up, as soon as he got into game he ran off to camp GoV. and he was sitting there all day from then on.
just thought id vouch for that incase people start asking if he was really camping it.
as for the incident i wasnt there to see what happened but i have seen it before and i dont blame kiilsimba for getting angry. sometimed people put their greed before the fun of the game. our arti raid went sumhow that way last night too. and we ended up not acheiving one artifact.

killsimba dont leave. you tart

camping a mob does not make the mob yours, it only becomes your mob when you pulled it (which you did do). its against coc to pull mob away from the initial pullers.

Camping a mob means that when it pops it is yours to kill. thats the reason people camp places, so that noone else comes along and kills the mob before you.
how can you say that does not make the mob yours?
i no what you mean by if you hit the mob and get yourself no1 on its hate list but being there in the area before anyone alse aslo means that the mob is 'Yours'

Camping a mob does not make it yours according to the CoC.

Pulling the mob does.

Typically hibbies on this server have recognised camps as a generally polite and realm orientated thing to do but clearly not everyone buys into that. If you did pull it (and it sounds as though you did) and then Nolby Pride stole it then you should right now the incident and let GOA look into it.

I suggest you read the CoC :) ... BUT there is 1 issue too...the moral part of it. Personally I know its against CoC to camp and I know it's all about who attacks first...but I sure as hell wouldnt attack a mob that I see people camp. I've met people several times telling me its not allowed to camp and there really isnt much I've been able to do apart from swearing once they steal the mob infront of me... but as we are supposed to be a realm fighting together and the game is about teamwork I really don't see the point with acting like they did. What goes around comes around, so next time I see them camp I can atleast pull the mob right infront of them without feeling any guilt :)

aye my last post was meant towards general consideration for others rather than CoC. Like the rule in CoC that you camp camp open area's, i would still never approach the area from a different side and pull wothout first seeking permission from the people already there.

Wrong!
Camping a mob only ensures that you see it first when it pops and so are better prepared to pull it first.

But there are various game scenarios:
(1) Let the guy camping it pull it = good manners.
(2) Group and do the mob together = good manners.
(3) Pull the mob before the guy camping it does = bad manners but NOT against the CoC.
(4) Let the guy camping it pull the mob then pull it off him = against CoC and should be reported.

Sounds like you had a case of 3 or 4.

I respect camps because I've done them myself and know how utterly frustrating it is when you've camped it for hours, or you're getting your group together, and some ignoramous comes and jumps in first. If I see an arti spot camped I will either turn around and walk away, or ask if I can join for the encounter credit. I would not even join an arti group that has been camped for ages and expect to roll for the arti because imho if someone has waited 16 hours for a pop then they're more entitled to the arti than I am.

And do you know what? On those occasions when I've joined a camp and opted out of the roll and "given" the arti to the camper, the appreciation that comes back to you gives a real warm and fuzzy feeling.

Being nice to people can actually feel good.
