Yes Seanpaul I agree...I only just now saw this post Some days ago we were compairing FH with PRYDWEN.NET in another post and tbh this one is starting to remind me of a FH post only with less using of the words GIMP and (for caestars sake) FOAD!

But hey, I see it now, people even pointing me to FH forums because I got a different oppinion then the majority in here and complaining about a warlock on another server? As you can see it's not even 50, so don't see your point. Hypocrits is a word that springs to mind.

No, people are pointing you to FH because of the manner in which you state your opinion.

As for hypocrisy, you are insistant that people should not add, because that's the way you play, and yet you are criticising people for playing the game in their way

This issue has been discussed a number of times, and the result is always the same, as it is the one issue that seems to polarise people more than any other.

My own personal view is that if you want to guarantee a fair fight play a FPS where you can fix the number on each side. If you play a MMORPG don't whinge when you get "adds".

I do understand that a fair(ish) fight is more fun and challenging, and I do understand the frsutration with adds, BUT that is the way the game is designed, and if you play the game you have to accept it

So am I getting this right, a community of which I've been part of for the last 3 years wants me to sod off to FH just because I got another view of whats fun in RvR? 'Nice' community.

But Prydwen.net has always had these kinds of post, the difference between here and FH in that sense is that here mopst people reply with more than just QQ, whereas on FH each thread ends up 20 posts longer from people who post QQ and nothing more ...

There is IMO nothing wrong with a "heated" debate, as long as everyone can at least remain civilised to each other. The main talking points of this thread have all been done before, and I think that in itself answers the first post...

The manners, views etc on the server haven't changed all that much, we just look at the passed with rose coloured specs

I knew it would come to this, 'Realm vs Realm' etc. And Moley, you mentioned having fun, well, having fun is having fair fights for me. Also know this discussion is pointless, since you would never try and see it from my perspective.

Simple question: if as a result of your "fair" fight you die and there's no rezzer alive in your group, do you refuse the offer of a rezz from an "added" group?

If you want to have Gp v Gp fights with no adds from realm mates you might wanna check out a US sever account because there's a chance that instanced RvR missions may come in a future patch.

It just seems sad to me that even in RvR we're getting people accused of adding and leaching when all anyone is trying to do is beat back the enemy. I don't remember Churchill telling the Yanks not to get involved in WW2 because they wanted all the glory for fighting Hitler. Ok, I know that might be seen as an extreme point of view but telling realm mates to bugger off and not get involved in a fight to defend the realm feels like a very sad turn of events and not how realm wars should be conducted.

What is it with the game these days that we're getting such a bad spirit of selfishness and lack of co-operation?
