vw are in forester?
from what i see they cant take from their own base class?
not sure how that works with vampiir though since they come from ALL base classes
Wardens with shield spec be nice though.
can get guard 1 by speccing 5 in shield
ooh and druid speccing in weps like ankh said above.
Specially if it stacks with their already half level spec think they get
25+5+11 at level 50
but recon it wont stack
not sure about mage though.
Maybe shield for the first stun style in the hopes of stunning a mob so you can nuke or maybe speccing for the first pet in druid line for the cuteness of a lynx running behind you
Interested in the player mounts though. A few artifacts require you to move very fast to complete (flask nameing one). Technically you wouldnt be in combat if the mob doesnt hit you so i wonder if you could just jump on your horse and leggit

using my incredible deductive powers, this is how I think it will shape up.
You cant pick an available skill from your class.
Example,
Druids wont be able to spec for music
Champs wont be able to spec spear, nor Heros for valor
Animist wont have stun
Mentalist wont have lifetap
The way it may work is thus
Each class will have certain abilities 'trainable' to a low level, you`ll have up to 5 'champion' points to spend, for either 5 low effects, 1 decently enhanced effect or a mix. These abilities will be a rough approximation of certain skills, reflecting a cross training, but NOT a specialisation.
Stealth, will not be an option, not happening, noway, nohow, not ever, fuggedaboutdit.
The abilities will be self enhancing, BUT not harmful to others, that is, if they dont want the abilities to skew rvr further.
Example, a druid getting a mentalist HoT would be a good option as it enhances the healing ability of a druid, but a hero getting an enchanters stun would be a BAD thing
A further evolution in my thinking, is the druids spec buffs, consider this. If you could use your champion points to score yourself the equivalent of being always buffed or indeed, being able self buff to a level approximating buffbot levels, would you spend your points that way? Think about it, 5 champion points for always on top level buffs? or split it, get 3 levels of self buffs and run with it? Its a solution to soloers and buffbots, then throw in changing conc buffs to all be ranged from the buffer and boost their effect to keep primary buffers valid. One smooth move, fixes buffbots, soloers and keeps real buffers perfectly valid. Interesting thought, isnt it.
I also think mounts will be usable in rvr, theyre going to add movement speed, customisation, saddlebags for more storage space, what makes you think they wont be. Think about this, common complaint about rvr now is that its over in 10 seconds, too fast, nukers do too much damage that healing cant keep up with. What if horses add a hp buffer, your opponent has to get through their hp to hurt you, thatd slow fights down to balance out the changes introduced in Toa. Do you pick a heavy warhorse, lots of hp 'buffer', or hell an Absorbtion buff, but unless charging its kinda slow, a normal middle of the road horse, or a fleet of foot pony, low in hp but moving much much faster. Choices, choices.
Then theyve teased us about 'epic' mounts....
Anyway, Im gonna get back on the phones, but just watch, the Almighty will have called it right again.
