RvR is just a term invented by Mythic to make it sound like it involved more than just players fighting each other. The original idea was that realm guards would be something that bolted on strongly to player vs. player combat to produce something that was more than just plain old PvP.
PvP essentially just describes the fact that players fighting players is involved, it's therefore a much more broad term, you could say that RvR is a subset of PvP under Mythic's original vision much like game types in other games such as Capture the Flag and so forth would be seen as a subset of the overall idea of PvP.
It sounds more like what you mean to say is that you only like some PvP - i.e. the RvR subset then is that correct? Do you also feel that somehow RvR doesn't contain the childishness and immaturity that you claim PvP does (ignoring the idea that it is just a subset of PvP of course!).
