Funny coming from the guy who invaded Cuba at the infamous Bay of Pigs and tried to cover it up for so long lol. Guess Americans are like that *shrug*

comment from the youtubecomments wrote:Kennedy was not a perfect man, like an other leader in history you could name he had his personal faults and shortcomings however he WAS a leader. He united and lead our country like so few Presidents in our history have done before or since. When he was assasinated not only our nation but the world mourned for our loss. If Bush was assassinated today no one would care except for the oblivious Republican die hards in his cult of personality.
another peep wrote:A brilliant, brilliant leader. It is painful to recall a time when we were PROUD of our leader, proud of our country, didn't look like fools to the rest of the world and held ourselves to higher standards. Somehow his legacy has been lost over the years. My daughter only seems to know that he had an affair w/ MM.

and what the hell is a neo-con?
someone seems to use it as an insult to everyone who actually says they think jfk wasnt so brilliant :p

Don't think there's ever been a particularly great US leader tbh, the US population is in general, too dumb to elect one.

Or well actually, I suppose they did elect Al Gore who would've been a good president at least, just a shame Bush family didn't allow it and the American population didn't have the balls to stand up to them and instead let them fiddle the democratic process. Rather ironic when you see how Bush and Condoleeza Rice preach about how we must spread Democracy, if it's their form of democracy then not a lot needs doing to spread it because there's already plenty of countries like Iran where the people get to vote but the opposing political parties get shafted even if they win or would've won if it weren't for the torturings, the jailings, the forced votings and so forth :p
