Belis - Hasta La Vista

Been putting this off for a bit, but it is about time I waved a so long to the game and the friends I have built up in it. Maybe not a firm goodbye but equally not quite a see you soon.
As some of you know that damn thing called real life caught up with me and severely curtailed my game time and therefore over a period of time prevented me from running with the fixed groups of Aran and Gwenn and eventually the NFD2 guys n gels as well.
The grind of levelling or ML's and arti's has long lost it's appeal and in truth it was only the guild life and the fixed groups that kept me going for so long. I have rarely been on line for some weeks and cannot see a re-appearance any time soon (except perhaps to pay some rent or stock up the CM).
So whilst I resist the urge to make this a formal and permanent farewell I sadly do need to turn my back on the game and the people and walk with purpose along the path into something different and something new.
Lots of things and people I am going to miss.
The original KotG crowd, Kes, Landra, GP, Chabio and SP among them. Such good times.
The guilds along the way, not many for me as I hated switching but IW (who renewed my vigour) and latterly some cracking people in FS (such fun).
The fixed groups, AoW (something fun and different) and of course the peeps who ran in NFD2 who taught me more about RvR than I ever even realised was there (classy rl meet, 8 hrs of boozing).
At some point I am sure I will miss it, but time is precious and so for the immediate future DAoC takes a firm back seat.
Stay safe and happy hunting.
