how's it going?

Hi guys!
Some time ago I had to quit playing daoc due to RL stuff and so. Now that I'm more free I wanted to give it a try again.
My toon is a warden and I was just wondering... are they still needed in RvR groups or shall I start another class and play it?
In case wardens are still usefull (which I think they must be
) what spec is the best you think to use?
I was thinking 47 nurt 33 reg 11 blades 42 shields (if it can be possible, didnt check it)

Hiya Pepper, welcome back!
Yup wardens are still very much wanted for fg stuff, certainly one of the rarer classes on the server nowadays. Thats as long as you have bodyguard ofcourse v;)
Looks solid spec that as well, though i'm sure jupiter or asc will be able to give a more informed opinion than me.

By loads you mean more than 4? Think in the grand scheme of things there's not that many of them. To get a group as one lot's of people will expect you to be ml8 battlemaster though.

with current pop, 4 wardens is a large percentage xD

Well there are more wardens around now than there used to be, but thats mainly due to them becoming fotm when they got shield spec, so many folks dusted off there wardens and played them for a while.
I have noticed a lot of the high RR wardens from pryd have disappeared tho, presumably along with most of the fg rvr scene which seems to be currently inactive (except NFD GG1, 2, 3 and 4 or however many they are running these days)
Irvr seems to have minimal requirements for wardens (from my perspective), but thats due to everyone running solo fully buffed casters in all the realms <sighs> but an ML8 BM Warden seems to be of use in small group and fg rvr if you can find it, and if you want to spec the right way and template for it, a warden can be pretty effective as a visual soloer, not my scene, but I have seen properly played solo wardens massacre enemies I cant get close to with my group specced warden and group specced template.
Just my thoughts so hope they make sense <would be a first>
More wardens can only be good for the realm as far as I can tell.

To be honest with the lack of Tank groups setup nowadays, BGers aren't in great asking as they were before, but u'll surely find some action in a way or another ...
