Stop using the "secret" section, it became obsolete since cluster (it was dodgy even before tbh), need in game gms meetings to plan such things, period.

cant really say anymore than what the guys on there said. Massive green tree on RW kinda gives it away, and you should have at least cut port...

Well it took about an hour before we even got to alb. Way to long to even start doing anything. Port should have been cut indeed but I doubt it would have made a diffrence since there were a lot of albs there and we got whiped in about 5min. I dont know if its cross realming, it does seem like that but apparently some guards were pulled and iirc some albs did see us run past cos someone in my group got picked out and killed when we were running to keep.
Think Gahn is right, posting it in secret section is a bad idea (tho i dont think that last nights raid was posted anywhere unless i'm wrong ofc) and there must be another way to organise things like this.
edit: just saw the post, it was indeed posted in the private section

best not to use the private section in future raids, try and work through GM's who we trust and then recruit people into the BG after we are ready to go.
It was really dissappointing and to an extent we should probably just forget about keeps and let the game go to pot until the summer is over at least. Not a nice thought but realistic I am afraid.

yea its impossible to keep peeps who only play hibs there as most peeps seem to play both realms equally :/

Hard but true. As it stands Albs are able to organise big raids or just have enough players to carry on a momentum. Maybe born out of the necessity to zerg at low realm ranks to be effective whereas Hibs tend to run in opted groups as fast as possible, never learning the skills necessary for big raids.
Albs are better organised and more successful. With Mids out on summer holiday it won't take long for Albs to get Hib relics if they want.

What about if we changed the permission system + forum arrangement to the same as we do the guild/alliance forums.
It could be something like:
GM forum - one (or 2) members of each alliance is set as group leader and also one person to represent independent guilds
Access is only to be granted to GM/officer level players.
This requires an in-game confirm. (confirm the prydwen.net account matches the game account and also that the person is in fact a GM)
Private forum - same as current secrets forum
(same group leaders as above)
Anyone who is a current player of any guild is entitled to access.
Every 2-3 months, we could post in the GM section asking if it would be a reasonable time to do a clear. We could then reset the usergroups. If there was something planned, we could delay by a week or so or something.
Alternatively, we could just use the current usergroups as permissions. Anyone who has access to an alliance GM forum shall have access to the realm GM forum. Also, we could add an independent GM usergroup that is cleared every so often.
Similarily, anyone who has access to any guild forum on this board, would get access to the private realm boards (would need to be careful we only include hib guilds

).
In the 2nd case, we would need the group leaders of the various usergroups to keep their usergroups up to date. Also, there is a problem that guilds would want to give people who play 2 realms access to their guild forums.

That could work, alas we need to be very restrictive about it.

I don't think it's quite as bad as that. We're better at defending than we are at keep taking, and unless the albs AC our relics, we should be able to keep them out.
