/level or not?

finaly dinged 50 today and thought i would create new char and use the /level command to get him to 20 and when i did it says if you use this command you will not be able to be one of the catacombs classes :shocked: is this true? can anyone confirm it for me please as i dont know wether to /level or not. :nervous:

yes its true. all new classes cannot be /level'ed at the moment.

It probably means that that char cannot be a cata class. I seriously doubt that they would block your account from using Cata if you /level any char.
The best plan would be to /level and see if the level 5 trainers for the cata classes will talk to you. If they don't you can just delete the char and level to 5 the old fashioned way.

The /level command can only be used on the "old" classes, Bainshee and Vampiir cannot yet be /level'ed.
When they will change it I dont know, but it will happen sometimes in the future, anything else would be weird.

Ahh, sorry thought you had a level 1 char

I meant,
create char (random base class)
/level
click trainer 4 times (you are now level 5)
go to Cata trainer
become Cata class
If you can't, delete your level 5 char and start again
This would take 5 mins.
If you already have a level 5 char, then best plan is to become a Cata class and then try to /level.

if you /level you cannot train to become a cata class.

Here is some information concerning the new things introduced to the game. They answer many questions received by our customer support :
- To be able to choose one of the new classes you must have the correct race and the character must gain experience to level 5.
- Characters that used the /level command to level up their characters cannot choose to become one of the new classes : Heretic, Bainshee, Vampiir, Warlock, Valkyrie.

you cant /level to become a catacombs class, lair, it wont let you
not that it takes 5 minutes to get level 5 with the instance at mag mell.
