Spear of Kings, an attempt - Mon 1830GMT/1930CET

Meeting place is Aerus/Prydwen. Bg will be made on Line-p around 1820GMT

I'd like to get hold of Spear of Kings before 1.82 hits, if there's anyone willing to help I'd appreciate it a lot.

It's either ml9chanter+fop+ram rider or a solid team of support, tanks and a few ram riders.
Potentially, we could hit some other artifacts in the area to add a little incentive for other classes. Such as EOY and uhm... whatever pops up.
Please ask your alliances if there's people for it later today, or just give people a notice.

PS. I'm not a fan of preclaiming items, but if the spear drops, I'll be grabbing it. I'm really hooked on getting it activated before 1.82.

Just wondering, what's so special about activating it before 1.82?

From what I've been able to dig out, you can activate it as LW thrust in the current version, but that is changed with the coming patch. I've been wondering if the damage type is changed retroactively, but it doesn't seem that way from the people I've been talking to.

Have a thrust LW would be very nice, even though it may be hotfixed at a point.

If not going the ml9 pet route, there's not the biggest requirements to setup. Two meleers (shieldtank + dps) a druid perhaps two, a bard and an animist or two should be able to do this.

A ram is necessary, unless we want to spend more time than needed :] I'll supply that though.

an ml9 chanter has said he's coming, so if we can get a druid and someone with a FoP we're set.

EoY should be doable afterwards with the amount of people we have currently.

Id like to come, but might do ml1 presteps still at that time. When we're done Ill join with a 48 pure reg druid! Wouldnt mind eoy credit either.
