Shield Question

at CL5 I can use small shields, however, am I able to use artifacts as Atens would slot into my template perfectly.

Afaik you cant activate artis you couldnt activate before DR.

Guess it still depends if ur class was able to activate the arti before last patch aye.

Wrong. Vamps cant use arti-shields. Artifacts are linked to classes who can use them. For example Battler can be activated by: Bard, Druid, Warden, Champion, Hero, Blademaster, Nightshade, Rangers. Just because your Eldritch (or Vampiir, or well anything not listed) gets access to crush/slash weapons doesnt mean he can activate the artifact.

Thats why Vampiirs can *NOT* activate new artifacts. It would be uber tho, would love Battler for example on my Vampiir. And Cyclops Eye Shield or the Tartaros-staff for uber MCL2 charge

So unfortunaly for you the answer is NO, your Vampiir can NOT activate any new artifacts. Same goes for all other classes btw

Also: Its CL3 where you can use a shield (and slash/crush weapons), not CL5
