lo all . ive been told qui cap is 250 and anything above this will gimp my damage output .

now does anyone know how many points are needed in sc to to get to 250 when fully buffed ?

im guessing about 55-65 ? would this be right ?

im a celt if that helps out at all .

do like this, strip of all gear that has +qui on it, then take that number and add in +93 from a dexquibuff. 250 minus what you get with stripped gear +93 from buff is what you lack to get 250..

Hope this helps mate.

It doesn't gimp your damage to get more then 250 QUI. It does absolutely nothing else either tho, so if you got like 270 QUI when fully buffed, you wasted some slot on your SC with +quickness where you could have putten something else (more HP, better resists etc)

No

Only thing it apparently helps with is when factoring into the evade calculation but by such a negligible amount (or for high dex chars, not at all afaik) that it's not worth it.

All that said, a Celt ranger will need exactly +74 qui to hit 250 qui assuming no +qui at start. Same deal for Saracen/Briton Infs/Scouts.

So +250 Quick doesnt help me shoot faster with mah bow?

Nope, sadly not. Neither does haste. 10% archery speed and 250 qui is about as good as it gets for archery DPS in terms of bow speed.

AFAIR haste/quickeness for melee and the more quickness the less dmg you do per hit although you will hit more often.

>.< yeah well, think we knew that, the thread was about if getting higher then 250 qui, helps, and we now know from what people have said that it dosent.

and neither do you with ur Bow if reading the Great Mod Xest's answer, though Im not all sure that the question and the answer differ all that much, about the Bow speed that is ;P
