ML6.1 Pre-req - Trial 1 -Hunt for the missing/hidden Haje-Uraei

Post by Sharkith »

OK I am posting this as a warning to you all who think your gonna just turn up on Sunday afternoon and be able to do ML6.1 which is one of the pre-requisite steps for ML6.

Its a nasty bitch of a step with a spawn rate lower than a police man in certain parts of Belfast (I should know).

Last night we had a raid to find it - we cleared all the snake thingys and then we spent a time with one member of the group suiciding to get the Haje Uraei to spawn. It was easily an hour and ten minutes of continuous suiciding close to the spawn spot on the map before the right one popped.

Then you have to get the suicidal maniac rezzed back into your group and finally you can kill the bloomin thing. We got it in the end and thanks to the group I was with for a rather comical evening.

This is tedious and the guy who wrote it should have his/her face or some other part of his/her anatomy ripped off.

Whenever a player dies in Typhon's Reach , one of four things happens:

- Nothing
- A Ureus spawns
- An invisible snake spawns (broadcast "you hear a hissing noise")
- A Haje Ureus spawns (only certain spots though)

When you got a major raid with many deads then the chance of having some Hajes around is naturally high. With no one doing SOM raids or Taur farming anymore, there are not many deaths, hence not many Hajes. Therefore only the suicide method works, and it does cost time, as the spawn rate is really low, as Sharkith points out correctly. And he does know very well, judging from the death spam he produced last night :)

Oh, don't forget to kill a few ureus first, as there is a max of 200 of them allowed in the zone, and if there are 200 up, nothig spawns anymore. The invisible snakes spawning sometimes are the ones that amalgamate into Ylissan btw.
