No not the whirly windy thingy (or the aeroplane), the level 25 CD style. It lists the pre requisite as 'You Block', or 'You Evade' for shades.

Q - Does the same apply to rangers? (ie. if a ranger evades, does it open up the style for them to use) :thand:

still listed as "you parry" on catacombs char builder but think that might not be right any more.

But if its right then its useless... rangers dont parry iirc

its you parry I thought, Briannon got right pissed off with it as far as I remember - where is he when you need him?

Basically it is useless.

It Works as an evade style now but it depends how much CD u have depends if its worth using or not if u have 34cd or less its worth it if u have say 44CD then the Blinding Rain/ Blizzard Combo is better more damage and better effects :)

Aye, silverbirch is specced up bow so it's irrelevent to him. My new melee ranger I'm doing is going 44 CD, but the evade chain was obviously going to be vital to that decision.

Thanks folks

I'm here Sharkith buddy.

Here is something I learned a while ago:

I have just found out the hard-way that there is absolutely no point in training Celtic Dual to 25. The reason for this is that the style at 25 CD Skill is Tornado and requires a parry to use. Because Nightshades cannot train in parry we do not get the Tornado style. This means that subsequent styles that depend on Tornado cannot be used - ever. So there is absolutely no point in training Celtic Dual to 25.

I asked GOA at the time to grant me a respec and funnily enough they claimed this wasn't a bug!!! I thought allowing me to train a style I couldn't use may have been a gameplay bug but not according to them.

Anyway, this was changed in a recent patch to add the evade pre-req.

Rangers could train in parry so they were ok to use this style.

Rangers can train in Parry?

Since when? And why did I never parry? :(

Style was indeed changed to "after evade" for classes that do not have parry in some patch a while ago.

Anyways, if you're a piercing ranger, diamond back first, than blinding rain / blizzard chain, I see no reason why use tornado chain at all.
