My menta is stuck at lvl 45.5 and it feels like its cursed, it doesnt seem to want to lvl anymore :< Just wondering if there's any grps out there that might have a spot for it :xest:

yeah i am pretty much getting the same on my menta at 46.5 although still trying to solo because gimps think it's fotm to solo xp pfft :OohhoO:

Mobs outside ailinne 1 or 2 (can't remember which) are really good, right up to 50.

catacombs quests + free lvls did the trick for my warden

Guess i have to do the cata quests on this toon aswell hehe.. its just questing aint my thing, and the they arent exactly the most exciting either (in daoc)

But if thats what i have to do ill do it :mojo:

If anyone expects nowadays that some fairy comes along and invites you magically into a group - keep dreaming.

Most people want xp fast. Get to know Hibernia and the spots and you can offer people exactly this. But be prepared as this can be a burden once people know you are doing good hunts.

For starters I recommend: fringes of Cursed Forest. Good xp, loot is ok, big camp bonus as nobody hunts there.
If you want a penultimate challenge, go Bog and hunt Raven Wraiths.

It's no wonder that the youth of Hibernia is looking that pale if all they hang around is in the dungeons !

Umm why ? I think menta is a good solo class ( at least it worked for me).

Regarding exp groups as mentalist... well, it is a dream , indeed, Keskex I dunno why, anyway, menta can act in many roles, but people want to maximuze the damage ratre and lower the downtimes, so only mass killer classes with specs can get any chance into exp grps, which is the pure suck, and i do blame people, yes. Everyone wants to play his toon, even if that class has no pbae, and only alternative as soloing until the brain is stopping is never good.

I soloed a light spec (with crack 1 so it was bearable.) mentalist from lvl 1 to 46, then I got into fins groups once or twice for lvl 48 since I respecced to lvl 3 crack at 40 so I could get more groups. 48 light 24 mana spec etc.

Charms were useless, they costed way too much mana.

From 48 I soloed again, it was dreadful, I wouldn't ever do it again

Well afk in a pboae fins grp is always gonna be faster than anything. But tbh menta is one of the nicer classes for solo xp so bit silly to complain, not like u a warden or something.

Orange con pet, BB buffs, damage shield, stack mobs, switch target for aggro, aoe nuke. V little power usage - even now i rarerly bother bring my BB along when scroll farming or whatever for FoP.

And Loth aye charm mana usage used to be a pain for ments but they cut it in half a few patchs ago. It was never as bad as peeps made out anyhow. Get a daughter of medb at that lvl, they kick the shit out of higher con cave bears even unbuffed.
